Hope, the new song of Elisete, 'The Ambassador of Joy in Israel', is the essence of her life story, as well as the essence of the story of our tiny Israel - a crazy roller coaster, on the verge of a ghost train. Every moment a turn, every moment a twist, some of it good, some much less. The only thing that is constant is Elisete's big smile that acts like a giant magnet, hypnotizing and making everyone around her happy.
Hope is an autobiographical song, rhythmic and full of light. Brazilian carnival pop with the joyful samba-reggae rhythm of Bahia blends with the shadowy Israeli optimism. In the song, Elisete sings about the horrors of war and the difficult years that we go through, and yet she manages to fill the listener with hope. Elisete believes, lives and tries to convey the message of Universal love through every means of communication available to her. This is the heart of the song and the accompanying music video: everything happens within us, everything is our choice alone and most importantly - it is easier to choose good than evil, it is simply a matter of habit.
