Brazil used to be the perfect freedom fantasy for Israelis: sun, beaches, wildlife, beautiful people and lots of freedom, joy and music. Recently we confined ourselves to Israel and it’s fun to have Elisete - both a Brazilian-Israeli singer and also a sharp-eyed Israeli patriot to remind us - Brazil is here! Israel is filled with wonders - freedom, sun, beautiful people, mutual help, wonderful nature, good music and a lot of joy. All that is needed is a musical reminder from Elisete: “My journey in this album is on the seam between Brazil and Israel and about how much they are interconnected in me. I feel that the more I become Israeli I simultaneously become more Brazilian as well. It is this paradox that I wrote ‘Brazil is here’ about. The song is accompanied by an amusing clip with quite a few characters including ‘Shoshke’ by Zeev Engelmayer as the Girl from Ipanema.
