What's new with Elisete
A lonely bird - save our planet
In the song A lonely bird Elisete takes us one step further into her inner world.
She is sensitive, empathetic, optimistic and not afraid to find her true place alone.
She unites sight with the animals to show us what we as a race are doing to nature and in fact to us - because we are part of nature.
Her message is touching and it’s easy to identify both with the animals trapped in the smoky forest and with the allegory of a sensitive person alone with his truth.
Elisete believes that caring for nature will help us care for each other.
She is optimistic and hopes we will join the mission to save ourselves and our planet.
Born in Brazil she is very sensitive to the fate of the Amazon which is under constant human attack.
A lonely bird is her second song protesting against the systematic extermination of the rainforests: the flora, fauna and natives that this is their home.
In My Amazonas hope she was the voice of the Indians mourning their burning home. This time she lets us gaze through the eyes of the animals.
Like its predecessor, in A lonely bird Elisete chose English from among the 7 languages she speaks to bring awareness to as large an audience as possible and help create positive change in the world.
The guitars are played by the wonderful guitarist Arik Shahar. The arrangements are by Raz Burg.
The clip was filmed by Elisete's production and edited by Roby Laville from Italy, with whom Elisete aired a program in Italian and collaborates in many fields.
