In my Heart - A new single of Elisete
Times are complicated, and joy is not always self-evident.
In her new single “In My Heart (Etsli Balev)”, Elisete chooses to remind us that joy is a choice – and that the heart knows the way even in difficult times.
It is an autobiographical, rhythmic and light-filled song that combines the Brazilian rhythms of the IJEXA with the Israeli Mediterranean sound. The song continues Elisete’s journey to a new, heartwarming album, and offers simple advice for a good life – one that is easy to remember and fun to sing along to.
“It is precisely now, amidst the uncertainty, that I chose to release a happy song. I remind myself every day that joy is a choice – and that is my message,” says Elisete.
The music video for “In My Heart,” directed by Roby Laville, is a colorful and imaginative celebration in which Elisete appears in several different characters – including Majda, “The first organic fortune teller in Israel,” a beloved humorous character from her web series. Through humor, color, and a wink, the video expands the song's message: to choose joy, even when it seems almost not in place.
